Example of a Cost Model

For our example let us assume 150 Staff locating in Birmingham are being released.

It is important that each has a CV, plus guidance on how they can find new employment and interview support. Also access to a Consultant to cover areas such as Retirement Planning, Transferable Skill, Self Employment etc.

SEMINARS

The basis of the support would be two core Seminars:

• Self Marketing
• Interview Guidance

Based on Groups of up to 15 - two Seminars are delivered per day

10 Consultancy Days @ £425 = £4,250 + VAT

Support Materials @ £22 x 150 = £3,300 + VAT

CV

30 people require CV’s producing from a template we provide @ £25 / CV

£750 + VAT for CVs

With the basic ‘rough’ CV produced, we would work on a 1-2-1 basis to ensure the CV represented all the individuals skills, ability, and background

1-2-1 SUPPORT

Each person is provided with 1 hour of ‘open format’ support. Primarily used to review their CV, other areas can include Retirement Planning, Transferable Skills, Self Employment, and Retraining

Charged on a Consultancy basis (8 sessions per day) and assuming full occupancy:

19 Consultancy Days @ £425 = £8,075 + VAT

Total Cost £16,375 + VAT (equates to £109 per person)

Additional support can be added on and charged @ £425 + VAT per day.
