Group Sessions
Group Outplacement Support is provided via two core Seminars covering ‘Self Marketing’ and ‘Interview Guidance’. In addition we recommend individual 1-2-1 CV Guidance.
Working on a ‘menu’ basis, clients can add in elements as required, build up the required level of support. Groups are kept small with a maximum number of individuals at each being 12. By doing so we can involve the individuals and provide ‘relevant’ guidance and support.
Where staff are leaving a company immediately, our 1 day intensive support package is ideal. It covers self marketing, interview guidance, and includes a 30 minute 1-2-1 session in which we can review an individuals CV. People often do not want to attend several sessions once they have left an organisation.
It is also a highly cost effective level of support £ 78 + VAT per person including support materials and 6 months access to our on-line resource site.
Core areas we cover in our seminars include:
- Identifying where the job market is. This includes agencies, speculative approaches, networking, the Internet, trade and press advertisements etc.
- Guidance on how to prepare for an interview. Within this module are both practical tips and examples of questions which are likely to be asked, supported by advice on how to handle responses to such questioning.

LONGER TERM GROUP SUPPORT
By providing more intensive support, our Consultants can work more closely with an individual on areas such as identifying Transferable Skills, Retirement Planning, Self Employment, Retraining, and provide a greater level of ‘moral’ support.
Longer term packages are be built up around the two core seminars of ‘Self Marketing’ and ‘Interview Guidance’, with these sessions extended to 2.5 hours each to include more ‘on-line’ demonstrations. In addition we are able to tailor the content of the group session to the individuals attending the Seminar.
Other elements we would recommend including:
- Individual 1-2-1 ‘Open Format’ Guidance - 1.5 hours per session
- Telephone Support - 6 months
- CV Writing - if no CV exists, we provide a template for the individual to complete which we then arrange to have typed up, and is reviewed in a 1-2-1 support session
